The Do Good Project
Crisis Relief
After the hurricanes devastated North Carolina and then Florida, Jackie Hays, called me and said we need to do something! I agreed and in a matter of 4 days, we collected water, clothing and bought food, rented a large box truck and began our journey to Florida. Luckily, one of the ladies at our church had a sister just north of Tampa that attended a church there. They agreed to accept everything we could bring and distribute it to the affected people.
We wondered why nobody had created some sort of Crisis Relief program, which led us to create one.
We have secured a large house on the property of the American Legion here in Shreveport.
We have begun to collect clothing, water, non perishable food and some household items.
Once a Crisis occurs, we will be ready to load up and be there to help ASAP!!
How Can You Help?
We need your help! If you have clothing, water, non perishable food items and Please donate monetarily!! We want to be able to help people get back on their feet ASAP.

Delivered!
After a 16 hour drive we were met by some of the church members to help unload! I am on the right and Jackie is on the left.

Our New Home
This is our new home where we will store all the items YOU donate. We want to thank The American Legion Post #14 for allowing us to use this building rent free!!
